Trendwest South Pacific was suffering from a poorly designed shopping system. It originally comprised of a two page form filled with excess fields. Trendwest approached Freestylemedia to update their shopping facility and increase reader friendliness and usability. Trendwest also required their loyalty points system to be integrated with the shopping cart.

Freestylemedia redeveloped from scratch the Trendwest South Pacific shopping cart. It is now a fully-fledged e-commerce system with member and product management capabilities. A complex shipping algorithm was integrated to take account of the multiple states and countries the site could potentially ship to. Now, the shopping cart provides customers with a much more convenient way of shopping and an understanding of the number of loyalty points required for each purchase.
